Befriender (RM)

We offer practical help 7 days a week to the residents of Chertsey who need and ask for help.

As a volunteer Befriender you would befriend the lonely and housebound in and around Chertsey.

What skills do I need?

You would need good communication skills and be compassionate and caring and be interested in helping your community.

When do I need to be available?

You choose exactly when to volunteer and how often, and that can vary as often as you like - the role is very flexible. The organization does, from time to time, also have requests for weekend roles.
