Cookery Volunteers (CSVA)

The Grange Centre in Bookham is a centre for adults with learning disabilities. It's a place where people thrive.

If you enjoy cooking, our Catering Team are looking for volunteers to help the people we support with basic cooking skills, mains and desserts, in readiness to gain a cooking qualification.

Volunteers are needed Mondays to Fridays (mornings or afternoons).

A tutor will be on hand to support the volunteers and taster sessions are available to see if you enjoy it.

What skills do I need?

Ideally you'll have an interest in cooking, but more importantly we're looking for volunteers with a friendly, patient manner and a sense of humour!

Volunteering in our Catering sessions involves supporting, assisting and encouraging the people we support, in a safe but fun environment.
