Fundraiser Camberley Alzheimer Cafe (SH)

The Camberley Alzheimer Cafe is looking for a Fundraiser to develop and maintain the fundraising activities of the Cafe.

This could include organising events, identifying and engaging with prospective local donors who might be individuals, businesses or groups and associations, and writing (or assisting in the writing of) funding applications to trusts and/or health services and local councils.  This may include using social media to publicise events.  

What skills do I need?

Previous experience of fund raising would be a real advantage but bid writing and identifying funds can be supported by the local Voluntary Support office.  

Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Support will be provided.

You should have an interest in helping people living with dementia.

IT skills essential as well as social media awareness.
