Help with the Community Fridge Project

Our Community Fridge project continues to grow and we're looking to grow our team of volunteers as well. We are looing for support in the following roles:

• Daytime surplus food collections from Aldi Staines - Sundays and Thursdays
• Evening surplus food collections from Waitrose / Tesco - Sundays and Thursdays
• Lead cooks for our Tuesday meal cooking sessions
• Meal deliveries on Wednesdays (within Englefield Green)
• Friday morning community fridge sessions.

What skills do I need?

A willingness to help the local community.

Access to a car for collection and delivery roles

We are also looking for volunteers for our Community Fridge to help with food collections on a Sunday afternoon & evening and a Thursday evening. Volunteers must have a car and will be collecting from Waitrose & Tesco in Egham as well as the Co-op in Old Windsor. Food is brought to the Village Centre where it is unpacked and weighed ready for the Fridge session the following day.
