Do you have experience of parenting or supporting families and have 2-3 hours a week to spare?

Home-Start Runnymede & Woking is recruiting volunteers to support families in their own homes.

We need people who want to make a difference to families and children in their local community to volunteer with us.  If you have been a parent or have skills in teaching, social care, marketing, HR or business we would welcome your expertise. 

Could you be a hands-on home visiting volunteer? Last year we helped 200 children. You can help us to help bring other vulnerable children out of lock-down, back into education and social activities and back on track to reach their developmental milestones.

Full training provided.

 

What skills do I need?

If you have parenting experience and a couple of hours to spare each week why not become a home visiting volunteer and be a lifeline for a local family.
