Knitting Assistant (SH) at Bagshot Gardens (Avery Healthcare) (SH) : Voluntary Support North Surrey

We have a lovely knitting & nattering group at Sunrise Bagshot and would like to have an extra pair of hands. Some of our residents are skilled and however when they stop they need someone to get them started again.

The home has a project to knit clothes for premature babies in a nearby hospital which gives residents a purpose and sense of achievement.

What skills do I need?

No qualifications. Ability to cast on/off knit one pain and one pearl.

At present residents are either knitting baby items.
