Poppy Appeal Organiser

We need friendly, reliable people to help collect at Tesco's Extra, Cross Centre, Staines Rd W, Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 7BB

Volunteers can give as little as a couple of hours, and we provide everything they need on the day. People can volunteer individually or with friends, colleagues or family members. The money raised through the Poppy Appeal helps the Royal British Legion provide practical support to serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families. 

A rewarding volunteer leadership role coordinating the Poppy Appeal in your local area. Responsibilities include:

• Organising local collections and fundraising activities

• Recruiting and supporting local volunteers

• Building relationships with businesses, schools, and community groups

• Ensuring poppies and collecting materials are distributed effectively

• Being the local face of the Poppy Appeal

Honest and responsible when handling donations

No previous experience is needed—we provide all the guidance and support volunteers need.
