Steps2Work Wellbeing is an initiative from Surrey Care Trust, funded through Surrey County Council’s and Surrey Heartland’s Mental Health Investment Fund.
Designed to improve the mental health of people experiencing unemployment, this free and unique programme combines a holistic combination of 1:1 support from experienced staff and trained volunteer mentors, and nature based therapy activities.
Working from community hubs in Woking, Reigate, and Stanwell, the team can:
The service is intended to help people of working age who are struggling with their mental
health and employment.
Good all round level of education and/or life experiences is essential.
You must be able to form non-judgemental and constructive relationships with young people aged 14-16 years and to hold and understand clear boundaries. You must be able to work constructively as a member of a team and be enthusiastic, tolerant, dedicated and have a sense of humour.
Would be a benefit if you hold a current and valid driver's licence and car.
