Sunday Tea Driver (EP)

Every second Sunday of the month volunteer drivers take clients to the much loved Age Concern Epsom & Ewell Sunday afternoon tea held at St Mary the Virgin Church in Worcester Park. Drivers return to collect their clients later to bring them safely back home.

The opportunity is very flexible. The volunteer joins a team of drivers and can either help each month or help on an ad-hoc basis. Anything helps!

Journeys are usually within Epsom and Ewell and the volunteer uses their own car. Mileage is paid at 50p per mile.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for friendly volunteers with good communication skills who relate well to older people and understand their needs.  A sense of humour always helps.  We are looking for volunteers who are reliable, trustworthy and punctual. You will understand the need for confidentiality.

You need to be a good safe driver.

Expenses will be paid for the whole journey provided the volunteer is driving from the Epsom & Ewell area.
Unfortunately, we are unable to pay additional expenses for those volunteers who are coming from outside this area.
