Volunteer Drivers and Duty Officers in Mytchett, Frimley Green and Deepcut (SH)

Helping Hands Good Neighbour Scheme (SH)

Support Your Local Community in Mytchett, Frimley Green & Deepcut
Helping Hands Good Neighbour Scheme provides essential transport and support to residents needing help getting to medical appointments or local services. We’re looking for Volunteer Drivers and Duty Officers who can give a few hours of their time each week.

As a Driver, you'll transport clients to places like the GP, hospital, or day centre. As a Duty Officer, you’ll take calls from clients, match them with drivers, and help keep things running smoothly.

The amount of time you give is entirely up to you. You will need a full driving licence and a DBS check and enthusiasm for community support.

Whether you enjoy being out and about or prefer helping from home, your time will make a big impact locally.

What skills do I need?

Drivers need a full licence, access to a car, and a friendly, caring manner.

Duty Officers should be patient, organised, and confident on the phone — a sense of humour helps too! Full support and training provided.
