Volunteer General Instructor

Camberley Sea Cadets

Inspire the next generation through adventure and training.

We’re looking for volunteers to help deliver training and activities to young people aged 10–18, following a fun, Royal Navy-themed programme.

Whether you have skills in engineering, catering, first aid, or boating, or simply want to learn and teach something new — we’ll train you! No previous experience needed.

What you'll do:

  • Instruct or assist with cadet sessions
  • Learn new skills and gain qualifications
  • Be part of a supportive, fun, purposeful team
  • Make a positive impact on young lives

What skills do I need?

  • Ability to work and interact with young people following a Royal Navy Theme training programme.
  • Enhanced DBS (this will be provided by the organisation)
  • Good communication skills, specifically with young people

Details

The unit meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. The expectation would be at least one night a week and the occasional weekend.
