Join us in delivering fun and exciting water-based activities like sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing to young people aged 10–18.

Whether you already hold an RYA or BCU qualification or want to earn one — this opportunity is open to all. You’ll receive full training through weekend courses and be supported every step of the way.

What you'll do:

• Assist or lead water-based sessions
  
• Work with young people in a fun, supportive team
  
• Gain or build on nationally recognised qualifications
  
• Enjoy adventure, purpose, and personal growth

No experience needed. DBS check provided.

What skills do I need?

• Ability to work and interact with young people following a Royal Navy Theme training programme.
• Enhanced DBS (this will be provided by the organisation)
• Good communication skills, specifically with young people
• Previous RYA Qualifications (not necessary, as you would be able to apply to go away on RYA courses).

Details

The unit meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. The expectation would be at least one night a week and the occasional weekend. During months of April – September, Wednesday evenings for boating.
