Volunteers required on Wednesday mornings April-October to help with carriage driving for our disabled drivers

Help with grooming & harnessing our horses, accompanying our turnouts around the Merrist Wood complex by slow bike-riding alongside, harness cleaning afterwards and generally tidying up ready for the following week.

What skills do I need?

Ability to ride a bike (slowly). Willingness to learn and lend a hand when needed, flexible approach and good social skills are all key to this role. Experience with horses is useful but not essential - we are happy to train and will arrange a DBS check.
